My partner and I went yesterday, and I have to say the boiled crawfish had the BEST seasoning I've ever had. It was a little pricy but worth every penny, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!
Came with the work crew and had a great time..The food was great and the staff was very patient since the guys never decided what to eat.Giving them a 4 on service since they got slammed with a big party and sometimes would forget about our drinks.
Love the feel of The Camp! We went for lunch and sat out on the back patio, it felt very cozy and relaxed. We called ahead to make sure we could bring our dog, our waitress was wonderful and even brought our pup a bowl of water! I had the Camp Burger, it was loaded with bacon and a 1/2 pound patty on a freshly made bun. The barbecue sauce and fresh romaine lettuce were delicious! My other half had the catfish po-boy, it was loaded with freshly fried and well seasoned catfish filets and dressed on a freshly made french loaf. They also serve cocktails and drinks, we tried the Blue Crab and it had a nice spring, tropical taste to it! We had a great lunch experience and were so happy we could have our dog with us on the patio! We can't wait to come back again :)
Walked right in on a Saturday night. Fast and friendly service with great tasting food!! You can sit either outside under a lively little outdoor patio area or inside in a nice dining area. Didn't get anything from the bar this time but their sweet tea was perfect!!
Our hostess Ryan was very welcoming and V our waitress was very attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. Just walked in by chance on a drizzle rain day. Great chill environment with indoor patio. It was wonderful sitting inside. Definitely coming again.
I got the fried fish platter& My Hunk Of Honey got the grilled fish salad. We both were satisfied with the food! My husband doesn't mention much about food while we are eating but he did this time! It was delicious!! I recommend Top Notch Seafood!!
A hidden Gem in Gonzales! My wife and I went on our traditional "Sunday Lunch Date," and this week, she chose The Camp. I've never been there before, nor have I even heard of it lol but I always keep an open mind. So, we get to the restaurant and we realize that there's no parking by the building. There's a parking a lot on the side of the restaurant with a bridge to cross over the creek to get to it. Which was different, but when we get there, not a soul was there lol we were the only ones there. Which was bittersweet because is this place not really good but no line and I'm starving! So, we get in the restaurant, and the hostess sits us down (immediately lol) and then greeted by our waitress Kerry or Kerri. Who was great the entire time! Food time! My wife ordered the boudin egg rolls and the Crawfish loaded potato. I ordered The Camp Cheeseburger w Shrimp and the 6pc Spicy BBQ wings! My wife enjoyed her her meal very much and the same goes for me! When they brought that burger out, it was a BEAUTIFUL MONSTER! This burger was delicious. Perfectly, seasoned, nicely grilled and charged, and the shrimp were seasoned to perfection as well. The wings were very solid. A little to overly sauced up but no complaints about the flavor, the spicy BBQ sauce wasn't too spicy at all. It's just a nice kick to it. So, overall, the camp was a great selection. I'd give it a 8/10 We'll mostly be back again to try something different because the menu has some great options. Thanks, Camp, and GREAT JOB!
